For our Finance Department, we are looking for a:


ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT FINANCE


Description
The Administrative Assistant Finance is responsible for optimally managing the accounts receivable administration to ensure that all transactions are processed accurately and on time.


Job Duties/ Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Monitor and analyze the accounts receivables.
  • Maintain hire-purchase accounts.
  • Process bank transactions.
  • Support with the cash management process.
  • Correct customer (AR) accounts.
  • Request invoices from Operations for reconciliation.
  • Match stamped receipts.
  • Match credit notes and report available credits.
  • Match invoices with reconciliations.
  • Process monthly interest income.
  • Ensure IC reconciliation, matrix, and revenue breakdown.
  • Maintain credit card administration.
  • Prepare reconciliation overviews for the financial administration.
  • Process CAT credit statements in the administration.
  • Support at the cash desk.


Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor degree in Business Economics, Accounting or Finance with 1-2 years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have knowledge of Accounting processes.
  • Good comprehension of the languages Dutch and English (verbal and written);
  • Good comprehension of the languages Portuguese and French is a plus;
  • Experienced in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).


Reporting structure

The Administrative Assistant Finance reports to the Accounting Supervisor.

 

Work Schedule

  • 45 hours per week from Monday to Friday.
  • The base work location is at Surmac Wanica, and the working hours are from 7:30 – 16:15.
  • Availability for work at various Surmac locations.
  • Availability outside standard working hours, if required.
